Sam graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Data Science and a B.A. in philosophy. He joined the Provenzano lab the following fall as a master's student in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. For his master's project, Sam is leaning on his computational background to help analyze the lab's spatial proteomic data. When away from the lab, Sam spends his time playing guitar, watching sports, woodworking, or at the gym.
